Squads Space Organiser Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Squads Space as an organiser. By completing the organiser onboarding flow you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to act as an organiser.
- You must provide accurate contact details and agree to verify your identity if requested by Squads Space.
2. Organiser Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate information for your clubs, tournaments, and events.
- Ensure tournaments comply with applicable game publisher policies and local laws.
- Communicate schedules, rule changes, prizes, and dispute resolutions promptly to participants.
- Uphold Squads Space anti-cheating and anti-harassment standards.
3. Tournament Operations
- Publish clear eligibility, scoring, prize, and refund rules before accepting registrations.
- Honour published prizes and deliver them within the communicated timeline.
- Maintain records of match results and participant communications for at least 90 days.
- Provide Squads Space staff with requested logs or data for dispute resolution.
- Squads Space provides tools to manage tournaments, rosters, and communications only. Registration fees, prize pools, sponsorships, and other monetary transactions are the organiser’s sole responsibility.
4. Data & Privacy
- Use participant data solely for tournament operations and communications related to Squads Space.
- Do not share or sell personal data to third parties without explicit consent.
- Promptly notify Squads Space of any suspected data breach affecting participants.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Fraud, match fixing, bribery, or manipulation of tournament outcomes.
- Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or behaviour that violates the Community Guidelines.
- Use of Squads Space services for gambling, wagering, or illegal activities.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or abusing Squads Space infrastructure.
6. Compliance & Enforcement
- Squads Space may suspend tournaments, revoke organiser status, or remove clubs in response to violations.
- Repeat or egregious violations may lead to permanent bans and notification to relevant authorities or game publishers.
- Appeals must be submitted in writing within 14 days of a suspension notice.
7. Intellectual Property
- Squads Space retains ownership of its trademarks, branding, and software.
- Organisers retain ownership of original content they create but grant Squads Space a non-exclusive licence to display tournament materials within the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Squads Space provides services “as-is” and disclaims warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Squads Space is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from tournament operations.
- Total liability to an organiser will not exceed the fees paid for premium organiser services in the preceding three months.
9. Updates to Terms
- Squads Space may modify these Terms by publishing an updated version.
- Continued use of organiser features after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
